Asia Games 2023: DAY 2, Women’s Cricket bring Gold Home

Hangzhou, China: India breaks world records and bags a total of 11 medals on day 2 at Asian Games 2023.

India signed off with its first gold medal in the rifle event. The trio of ace shooters Divyesh Panwar, Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar and Rudranksh Patil participated in a 10 meter rifle team event. The hero of the rifle shooting, Aishwary Pratap, made the whole nation proud by securing a bronze medal in the individual Men’s 10 meter Air Rifle event. Double the medals, double the celebrations!!

Indian Women’s Cricket Team won their first-ever Gold medal  at The Asia Games, 2023. In this historic win, India defeated Sri Lanka by 19 runs.

Now all eyes around the men’s cricket final which is on October 7.

Additionally, India secured 3rd position in Rowing as well.

India jumps to 5th position in the medals ranking, with China on the top, followed by Korea, Uzbekistan, Japan and Hong kong respectively.
